Which services can I refer People to?

You can refer people to our individual or family counselling services (link to individual and family counselling page) Adult counselling is usually offered at QPASTT or at our outreach locations, for those who have been in Australia longer than 6 months. Some clients in the first year are offered home visits. Our child and adolescent counsellors may also see young clients at school or in the community.

QPASTT staff offer outreach counselling services to adults at the Gold Coast, Zillmere, Inala and Logan. Child and adolescent counsellors provide outreach to some primary and secondary schools. QPASTT also offers outreach counselling services to adults and youth in the Toowoomba and Gatton regions.

Clients can access counselling Monday to Friday. There may be a waiting period for counselling, depending on demand, but an initial intake appointment will be made as soon as possible. Asylum seekers are prioritised.
