The Homework Club is for high school students needing extra tuition and assistance with Science, Maths, English and other subjects. The Club is a place for young people to study, do their homework and work with tutors. Young people are encouraged to do their best in a helpful, positive and friendly environment.
The service has been running for over six years and is currently funded by Education Queensland. The Brisbane City Council has supported the Homework Club by donating equipment and computer support. The Youth Space where the Homework Club is held has recently upgraded its computers and has 5 new units. Avid Reader in West End have been very generous with their donations that have expaned the Homework Club library to include something for everyone.
The Club runs from Monday to Wednesday 3:30-5:30pm. It is located at QPASTT, 50 Shottery St, Yeronga. It is very close to the Yeronga train station. All high school students are welcome.
